6. Outcome letter following meeting - when you have AGREED some change

Following the meeting to discuss the proposed changes it is very important to confirm either what was agreed at the meeting or the outcome if decided after the meeting. This letter can be used when SOME CHANGE is to be made: The letter addresses three potential outcomes:

  • Changes have been agreed – confirm changes agreed and date
  • Changes have been agreed but on a TEMPORARY basis: start AND end date of changes.
  • Original requested changes NOT agreed but alternative changes were discussed, and this letter confirms what was discussed at the letter and AGREED

The three areas are shown in italics – you need to decide which section represents the correct outcome and delete the other two. The letter, as always, requires further personalisation shown in red.

There is an alternative letter if the outcome is NO change.
