Confirmation of Maternity Leave dates when SMP is NOT payable.

Here you will find an example letter which you could issue once the pregnant employee has informed you of the date she wishes to commence maternity leave.

This letter does assume that the employee will be taking Ordinary Maternity Leave AND Additional Maternity Leave; if this is NOT the case , the bit in BLUE will need changing.

This letter is used WHEN the employee DOES NOT qualify for Statutory Maternity Pay (SMP)

The letter needs further personalisation as shown in RED.
