9.Letter to organise an appeal meeting following written appeal against decision to reject application for flexible working.

Following an employee making an appeal against the decision NOT to agree to the change, this letter makes arrangements to have a meeting to listen to the appeal.

As with the initial meeting, it does give the employee the right to be accompanied by a work colleague – not a statutory right but accepted good practice: you will need to decide whether you wish to give this right.

As always, the letter needs further detail including the date, time, and location of meeting along with whom will listen to the appeal. On the subject of who may listen to the appeal; you may decide you want a different pair of ears here- depends on your resources and policy.
