S1 Written Statement of Employment Particulars
From 6 April 2020, all employees and workers must receive a written statement of their particulars of employment on their very first day of work at the latest.
All written statements must be compliant with section 1 of the Employment Rights Act 2006.
Previously, employers had up to two months to provide the statement and these requirements only applied to employees, not to workers.
The changes also affected the details of information required. This template helps you to comply with the requirements here.
The individual employment details applying to the employee/worker should be completed on the right hand side using the information on the left as guidance. The bits in blue is additional guidance and should be removed before issue. This document should be completed and signed by you and the employee/worker on or before day one.
